Black Cobra 3: The Manila Connection (1990)

Robert "Black Cobra" Malone is back!

Malone (Fred Williamson) travels to Philippines to help out his friend's son on an investigation of stolen weapons. Bad guys seems to know their every step. Is there a traitor in their ranks?

I think that this one was little better than the second Black Cobra movie, although there is a same problem with this one: action wise the middle section of the film is pretty lame. But then again, the grande finale where they blow up the enemy base is just damn awesome. This time the slow motion explosions are in the right place.

Directed by Edoardo Margheriti. On "Antonio Margheriti .com" (Edoardo's father) there is a couple of Edoardo's comments about this film. He says that Black Cobra 3 wasn't even properly completed due to market crisis in 1990...

There is also 4th installment in Black Cobra series, but what i have read from Internet reviews it is total piece of celluloid waste. What i gather this celluloid Frankenstein's monster is parsed together with scenes taken from the first Black Cobra film (scenes with Fred Williamson) that are incorporated with some new footage. Sounds like a winner...

Haha, would love to see the 4th film. It is probably hilariously pieced together like you said.
